  • John Muir Way

Scotland’s coast to coast John Muir Way passes close to Drymen. The section to Croftamie is a very pleasant walk or cycle connecting the two neighbouring villages.

  • RSPB Reserve

RSPB Scotland has two reserves in the National Park. The Loch Lomond reserve, with great views of Ben Lomond is just a few miles away at Gartocharn and well worth a visit.

  • East Loch Lomond

You can see Loch Lomond from the village viewpoint opposite Buchanan Arms Hotel. It’s just a short way to Balmaha on the banks of Loch Lomond and then Rowardennan and Ben Lomond.

  • Heritage Trail

Drymen has a new Heritage Trail starting opposite the bakery, take a short walk around the village and learn the history of some of the buildings and people who lived in them.

We are by the square and green at the heart of the village. On Thursday nights in July and August here enjoy an hour of music from a local bagpipe group with ‘Piping on the Square’.
